How the Listeria pathogen screening works
Test sample from the surface and activate the SNAP VALVE™. The result is visible after 24-48 hours of incubation. If Listeria is present, the test medium will turn black (see product video below for the correct way to perform the Listeria test).
Research by the consultancy Silliker shows that Hygiena's ATP tests perform best in terms of sensitivity and reproducibility. This also applies to the Insite listeria test. Fast and accurate results mean that immediate action can be taken! An all-in-one test that eliminates a lot of time, costly external research and analysis and eliminates the risk of contamination. The Hygiena Listeria Test fits perfectly with the Hygiena rapid tests for hygiene (ATP) and microbiology (MicroSnap for E.Coli, Entero and Total Count).
- No equipment required
- Positive test result visible after 24 hours incubation time
- Negative test result confirmed after 48 hours incubation time
Hygiena
You work in an increasingly strict environment and have to comply with numerous guidelines in order to ultimately be able to deliver to your customer. Governments and food manufacturers try to eliminate any risk of contaminated or spoiled products. Various guidelines describe the entire process of purchasing, receiving, production process, storage, sales and transport. After cleaning, extensive hygiene checks must be carried out to detect micro-organisms such as listeria, salmonella, E.coli and enterobacteria.
Hygiena supports you in this!
